Botany Manor
Composer • Sound Designer • Audio Implimentation
This serene puzzle game explores story and mystery through the discovery and cultivation of long-forgotten plants. The music and sound design support a subtle narrative, breathing life into the environment and gently guiding the player’s journey.

Music

The score was written to feel intimate and cinematic, based around a small ensemble instruments. I used close-recorded solo violin and harp to bring warmth and detail, reflecting the main character’s journey and the evolving story. Each forgotten plant is represented through its own musical theme, and the score as a whole is designed to be calming and vibrant.

Sound Design

The sound design is full of life, buzzing with birdsong, insects, and the subtle sounds of a garden in bloom. It’s calm and immersive, but always changing as the player travels. Since the story is told through the objects around the manor, I focused on making each one feel detailed and tactile. The goal was to bring depth and vibrancy to the world, so the audio feels as alive as the gardens themselves.
