I created the music and sound for this MTV ident on the theme of “Boredom,” directed by César Pelizer. The animation draws on Cés’s childhood in Brazil, spending summer days in his grandmother’s garden playing with ants and bees. Musically, I drew inspiration from weird 80s and 90s pop sounds, weaving in chorus-treated guitar and leaning into the stranger character of the Yamaha DX7.
